Books become a part of us , they capture our hearts and live there forever. The writers and poets telling stories of heroism, adventure, vulnerability, and virtue. Filling our homes with joy, warmth, and endless delight. At Wayward & Free we wanted to honor some of the literary greats,  the first in our collection being the Louisa hat after Louisa May Alcott who wrote one of our most cherished stories, Little Women. Characters like Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy are engrained into the fabric of our lives and celebrated in each piece of fabric we incorporated in our Louisa Hat. Each piece representing a different March sister coming together to form a quilt to represent the entire March family.

The Louisa Hat is an open crown design featuring a quilted pattern on the crown and brim complimented with a light blue velvet ribbon and bow on a mustard fur felt hat body.
